Over the weekend we got some amazing pictures, as NASA's Deep Impact probe collided with comet in orbit about the sun. What the terrorists should come away with this is simple: on a whim, the United States Government landed a 5 kiloton warhead to within several inches--and several seconds--precision on an object millions of miles away, and blew a sizeable chunk off the comet, and for no better reason than because we wanted to. If we can land a 5 kiloton warhead onto a celestial body millions of miles away for no better reason than gee-wiz factor, just think of what we can land on a terrorist's head... posted by William Woody at 8:40 PM
