Moral Politics - A Morality-Based Political Test
This test is (or at least tries to be) a different political test. Most tests assess your opinion by questioning your stance on political issues. This test explains why you think what you think by mapping your personal moral system. Moral views are the major factors that influence political opinions. Every political stance can be explained by one's moral position on the inner value of human beings and their role in society. Given how short the test is (the long form is 16 questions), I find it to be surprisingly insightful. And it's a good test because it doesn't ask loaded questions like "Government should not censor speech"--which everone answers "yes" to, even those who conveniently define "speech" narrowly to only what they find acceptable, and it doesn't ask confusing questions like "I am troubled by the eroding distinction between entertainment and marketing." (Huh? Aren't ads supposed to be entertaining? Or is this about product placement on TV?)
